Ric Parker has been working in the music and recording industry for over 15 years. Ric has had success in writing, recording, mixing and producing with a Queensland Music Award for Best Dance Recording and an Australian Music Award for Best Alternative Song.

In 2012 Ric won the Australian Music Awards Alternative category for the DieVsCity song, Stars Have Aligned. Ric was co-writer, producer and engineer. In 2011 he was the winner for the Queensland Music Awards – Dance Category, for the remix version of the same song. Ric co-wrote, produced and engineered the Wish for Wings song, Erase, which reached the #1 position on the Australian iTunes metal charts in 2013. He also engineered Kiara Rodrigues, I’m Gonna Be Fine, which peaked at #5 on the Australian iTunes country charts in the same year. As part of a project with his brother, their song Smack Bang In The Middle charted in the Top 100 US Radio Charts in 2004.

Ric specialises in writing, producing and engineering in the digital domain for solo artists. For bands, he prefers to engineer, produce and mix purely in analogue, using 2” tape and outboard equipment.
